History

Astronics PECO was founded in 1938 as a die casting pioneer. In the 1950’s PECO expanded into plastic-injection molding for the aerospace and defense industries.  Throughout the last eight decades, PECO has continued to invest in solutions to meet our ever changing customer needs.  Today, PECO is a vertically integrated manufacturing and engineering company; capable of working side-by-side with our customers from concept, through prototype and into high volume manufacturing.  In 2013 PECO was acquired by Astronics Corporation and the company was renamed Astronics PECO.

PECO acquired Sunne Controls in 1970 to serve the temperature control markets. The original bulb and capillary thermostats provided component control for OEM applications. Today, PECO Control Systems builds upon its roots in innovative design and manufacturing solutions. Our channels include OEM and Distribution for HVAC, commercial cooking, agricultural, and industrial temperature control.
